Here in Gaelscoil Chluain Dolcáin, we have found that Smart Panels are an extremely useful resource in the classroom. We have used Smart Technology, bought from Liosdoire Computers for 10+ years. We have always been extremely satisfied with the high standard of product and customer care. We believe that the Smart Panels add an extra dimension to the teaching and learning process and engage pupils on a level that cannot be achieved through textbooks. The opportunities are endless with online and programme software resources offering expert support to teachers in all curricular areas. In our own experience we have found that pupils are more likely to engage with a smart panel than with a textbook. One of the biggest advantages the Smart Panel offers is it’s interactivity. Pupils can physically engage with content in a number of way, by answering questions through interactive touch, by taking control of the board and becoming the teacher themselves or by interacting with the panel through third party devices, Kahoot quizzes would be an example of this.
