SCHOOLS
Gaelscoil O'Doghair (Newcastle West, Co. Limerick)
This innovative, cutting edge, state of the art Gaelscoil opened in Newcastle West in March 2006. Liosdoire Computers were involved with the school during the planning and construction phases. Every classroom has been equipped with digital projectors from Epson, full cinema quality TV /DVD access, and interactive, open-minds whiteboards form Interactive Technologies. Each teacher also uses a wireless public address system to communicate with the class, ensuring audible clarity anwhere in the room. The entire school is equipped with wireless, and LAN networking from the start. We have also installed a camera, and server for streaming performances from the school's stage to the internet, and to provide other synchronous, worldwide communications. The teachers and team at the Gaelscoil also collaboratively share their resources, print to central laser copiers, communicate synchronously, and video conference with their cutting-edge technology.The school's CCTV system was also installed and integrated into the server system by Liosdoire Computers. The school has received a considerable and significant amount of national, and international recognition and has been awarded the prestigious Digital Schools Award in 2006, among many others. This is truly a technology-enhanced learning environment with which Liosdoire Computers is proud to be associated.

St. Joseph's Secondary School (Ballybunion, Co. Kerry)
Liosdoire Computers have performed several tasks for this school in Ballybunion over the years. The first was installation of a wired network and a Windows 2000 Server. Secondly, we installed new Dell computers to their computer lab. Finally, we installed a Panasonic KX-TEA308 analogue PBX.
St. Michael's College (Listowel, Co. Kerry)
St. Michael's College is the boys secondary school in Listowel and has been open for over 125 years. Liosdoire Computers have performed several tasks for the school, providing laptops for the teachers in 2003 and have recently equipped the entire school with a wireless network, allowing broadband internet access anywhere in the school.

Tinteán Theatre (Ballybunion, Co. Kerry)
This new theatre in the seaside tourist resort of Ballybunion finally opened in March after a long time in preparation. Liosdoire Computers were there from early 2005.
We installed the digital PBX (a Panasonic KX-TDA30) and the entire computer network. The reception area also features a wireless hotspot.

Listowel Livestock Market (Listowel, Co. Kerry)
Agriculture is still a major part of life for those in the rural areas surrounding Listowel. The livestock market (termed "The Mart" by locals) recently moved to a new premises outside the town on the N69 Tralee road. Liosdoire Computers installed the PBX for the market, a Panasonic KX-TES824.
