Backup Solutions
It's common sense to say that small and medium sized businesses should regularly back up their data. However, it is hardly a common practice. In fact, according to research firm IDC, only about 40% of small businesses do it! Mid-sized businesses are only marginally better - about 46% implement regular backups, according to IDC.
Liosdoire Computers can provide backup solutions in the form of tape drives or portable hard disk drives. We use tape drive hardware from Certance, and software such as Yosemite TapeWare.

Tape drives
Tape is still the most common backup solution. It is cheap and reliable. Most drives include software to allow backups to take place automatically at scheduled intervals.
Portable hard disk drives
Portable hard disks are increasing in popularity due to their massive storage capacity and speed. Portable disk drives can back up much faster than tape and often come in sizes of around 40-250GB, compared to 10-40GB on tape.
